A new chick on the block

At the end of 2012 Bob returned with one new chick.

Bob Becomes a Proud Dad of Four

In 2010 Bob became a father and entertained our family hours on end.  Bob was a really good Dad and constantly fussed over the chicks.

Bob Matures

Bob continues to grow and grow.  His Wattle and colours start to emerge from his neck and his feathers change colour from brown to black.

2006: Young Bob The Cassowary Adopts Tully Family

After cyclone Larry (March 2006) a very young Cassowary began frequenting our yard.  Due to his habit of "bobbing" under the trampoline, to rid himself of mosquitoes, we named him "Bob".  This is the very young and very hungry Bob as he first appeared in the backyard.
